Cuts in the open round

A cut is a standings snapshot taken the moment round volume crosses the next multiple of the cut volume. Cuts do not pay and do not eliminate. They exist so the board has a history: anyone can see who was where at every point of the round, from the chain, not from a screenshot.

A round closes when the vault crosses the pool line at the close of a fill. The payout buys the coin with the entire vault and sends the tokens to the top ten. The next fill opens the next round at zero. There is no clock anywhere in this. A round can last a minute or a month. It is decided by fees, which are decided by trading.
